The Spring Branch Fire Department was founded in 1960 by community volunteers who realized the need for an emergency response organization. The department has become a landmark in the area due to the countless hours of volunteer efforts and dedicated service they provided to the organization. Spring Branch is located in the Hill Country just north of San Antonio. |

The Spring Branch Emergency Service District (ESD) 4 provides 125
square miles of emergency service to suburban and rural communities.
We are prepared to respond to calls involving water rescue, vehicle collisions, and all fire emergencies from structure to wild land. Our department utilizes 12 apparatus including a rescue boat and our newly acquired 109 ft. ladder truck. In 2008, we answered 864 calls and expect to surpass 1,000 in 2009. Our community is quickly growing and we are dedicated to proactively acquiring state-of-the-art equipment and training for our personnel and volunteers. |
